What I least expected while recording on a sound walk was a live argument. As I would make my way from 36th and Scott I would the stop somewhere near 37th and Lapham. It seem to look like a day-care,though it was a house. I would stop and listen to an argument between a mother and son. The mother happen to be angry at the son for not doing his chores (laundry). This recording for I was challenging. Some problems I had come across was the worries of looking suspicious with my microphones being held high in the sky in front of the house. At times the mothers volume seem to be more amplified than the sons. To hear more click here

Chainsaw
On a Sunday morning I were walking on 32nd and Scott. My microphones had guided me towards a noisy location. Unfortunately I was unable to see the man work in his back-yard because of a fence. I felt the fence played a role of interference, though I was able to record at my best ability. To hear more click here

After leaving the grocery store I continued to walk in my specialized pattern. I happen to be on 19th N Greenfield walking back towards my car. This was the last soundbyte I had recorded in this days of work. After finalizing the final product, I have learned that being more aggressive would have made a better soundbyte. Grocery Store
While walking down National Avenue, I decided to stop at a very busy grocery store. I had fun exploring many sounds within the area. I recorded the doors that were very "squeaky" and also got a chance to record some soundbites from customers and clerks. To hear this sound clip click here

Drift 1 Strategy
I plan on discovering sounds that represent an inner city. I will be doing my soundwalk on the South-side of Milwaukee. I will walk in a "straight, left, right" order every few blocks. I hope to capture a wide range of sounds from natural, human, mechanical, and animals.
